It's crazy how we had a lot of franchise anniversaries in just the last few years. I still can't grasp that one of my game favorite series - Monster Hunter is celebrating 20 this year!
It felt like it wasn't that long ago that my now husband got me into the games when it was MH Tri on the Wii!
(But then it hurts when you realize how old the Nintendo Wii is... w)
Anyway, I saw that Capcom was releasing two collector sets of their popular blind box figures.
They were quite pricey so I could only get one of them. There are 8 figures in the set and we got vol. 1
This set was Lagiacrus, Blue Rathalos, original Red Rathalos, Tigrex, Nargacuga, Brachydios, Zinogre and Kushala Daora.
Each came with their art card profile as they were introduced.
Pretty neat huh?
I just wish that either one of the sets came with my favorite girl - Rathian. Oh well. Maybe there will be more in the future! I'll make sure to save for that one.

Wow!! Full set looks nice~~ Was there no mystery monster this time? The previous set that I had Ukanlos from, each box came with a mystery monster piece and if you got the full set, you could build a bonus monster! In the series I got mine from, it was Lucent Nargacuga :3 But as it was at an event, one of the winners of a figure left before we could collect all the pieces to build the Narga 😿
My first game was MHGU and it's my favorite! Though I haven't touched it in over a year at I think 😹 There's still all the EX monsters to hunt... I only ever completed SoulSeer and uh.... can't even remember the first one I did? 🙀
@Sparklewolfie Yeah I was surprised that there wasn't a surprise one. All were revealed in the side of the box. Unless the special was Kushy or Blue Los? I don't know. It didn't especially say any were a special figure. But wow I remember those special sets! We only got a few pieces and never made the full figure XD Don't remember which one it was though.
GU!!!!<3 It's been forever since we touched a lot of the games. Especially since a lot of monsters showed up maybe a handful of times and never came back ;_;
