Things are still pretty sucky. . .

but Hubs won't let me quit. So I'm still tugging along. I'm very grateful for his support. I just hope this ends soon.

Speaking of Hubs - with his new schedule I'm making him more breakfasts than dinner/next day lunch. We agreed that we would work on dinners together and any leftovers can be snacks for when he gets home w

Like last weekend, I made him chorizo con huevos y queso (chorizo with egg and cheese). I did it a slightly different way than his mom does. I made sure to cook everything separately and drained a bit of the oil. And I think it came out pretty nice.

This week, he'll pick something else. It's not healthy for him to eat chorizo all the time.

It's been in the triple digits almost everyday this month. So I've been living on ice cream w I just finished my chocolate tub and now I'm having mint chocolate chip. I know a lot of people aren't fans of it but it's one of my favorite flavors.

In slightly better news, I don't think I mentioned here, I got my permit. I'm trying to drive again. Only this time my teacher and biggest supporter is Hubs. So it's actually helping me to keep going unlike the first time. Hoping in a couple of weeks I can breeze through the test and just drive myself to work. It can get pretty annoying when I have to wait for someone to come get me when I just want to go home w

Other than that, things haven't improved much. Still job hunting and trying not to feel like crap.
