We made sure to wake up super early to get to our destination on time. But I still got to see plenty of interesting sights as we were traveling. I haven't seen most of California so it was really nice of Hubs to go the scenic route first.

Luckily we got there with more than enough time and we got to have a nice breakfast at a coffee shop that supports indie comic artists. So if you're ever around the San Bernardino area be sure to check out the Birdcage Comics Cafe!
With our main mission done, Hubs showed me the places he remembered as a kid. It was really nice learning about him growing up and some of the places he used to visit. I felt I grew a bit closer to him!

When we were done driving around, he took me to the Ontario Mills mall. It was so huge! Even just kinda' speed walking through it took a bit of time! Cause unfortunately, we had to plan to leave soon to avoid bad traffic. Our trip took about 4 and a half hours each way so. . . but he made sure that I could still visit a couple of stores I really wanted to go to. We found a Daiso, Lego store, a KPOP store (where I was able to buy some bday gifts for family) and a couple of others.
Maybe one day we can try to spend some more time. But that will def be a trip in the future. Anyway, we went on our way home which felt like it took forever since we took a less interesting route. But we managed to take a couple of rest stops which was good for a potty break and to stretch.
Once we hit Bullhead City, we stopped for some really delicious Chinese food at this place called The Great Dragon. I never had such tasty and tender sesame chicken and rice before. It was so good and def worth the drive!
And this was my co*de for the day! I didn't know how much we would be walking around so I kept it comfy. Which turned out to be a great idea.

Sounds like a nice trip! California sure does have a lot of stuff to see :o
And seeing somebody else's childhood places really does make you feel like you got to know them better!
@Sparklewolfie Before the wandering around, it was pretty stressful XD But yeah, after that it was good! Yeah there is so much in California. I would love to see more of it! Yup! It's a great bonding experience!
I swear all Cali malls are enormous! I hope you get to visit again and see more of California~ I miss it~~ (I say that as if i'm from there lmao!) But it's super sweet he showed you places / things from his past ♥
